Full Itinerary

Day 1: Ho Chi Minh arrival (hotel)
Pick up at the airport, transfer to Hotel, the afternoon is free as for bike preparation for next day. Stay in Ho Chi Minh.

Day 2: Ho Chi Minh – Tay Ninh – Cu Chi (breakfast/ lunch)
After breakfast, we will start our bike trip for first destination Tay Ninh with about 25-30 km of biking when reaching good and quite road. Coming Tay Ninh, enjoy the traditional performance of Caodainism, lasting for one hour but it is worth seeing for 15 minitutes. After lunch, we will continue our trip forward Cu Chi tunnel. We will not bike any more until backing Saigon, it is good to bike from Cu Chi back Saigon for about 20km, road is well equipped and quite. The night is free. Stay in Saigon.

Day 3: Ho Chi Minh - Mekong Delta (breakfast/ lunch)
It is not the best route to bike but the guide will know where to stop for biking. It is worth visiting Thoi Son Islet where you can find peace, friendly nature and very kind people. It is really a relaxed place after day in busy city like Ho Chi Minh. You will have chance to enjoy some fresh fruits just being picked from trees in the gardens. Traditional music performances are also interesting. After visiting Thoi Son, we will head back Ho Chi Minh city.

Day 4: Ho Chi Minh – Da Lat (breakfast/ lunch)
After breakfast and checking out, we will have a day on road for Da Lat city, a beautiful one in Vietnam. We can not bike immediately for it takes some time to get out of busy cities including Ho Chi Minh and Bien Hoa. It is not a good idea to bike right after getting out of Bien Hoa for we have a good road waiting ahead. The guide will tell you where is the best to bike, but I think it is best to bike when we reach rubber forest along the road. It will be a hard day, if you really enjoy biking then it is interesting. We have to bike ups and downs for sometimes. The length will depend on your strength but I think 30 - 35 km is “enough”. We will reach Dalat in the late afternoon and can not do anything but have dinner. Stay in Dalat.

Day 5: Dalat – Phan rang (breakfast/ lunch)
Coming Dalat, you should get up early in the morning and take a bike tour around Xuan Huong pond where Dalat people often do exersises, take a walk and breath in fresh air. Then after the breakfast, we will take a tour around Dalat city getting to know about the structures, archirectures…There are many things special when talking about Dalat, one of those is that there is no traffic light in this city. We will not get out of Dalat city until 13h00 after having lunch at a restaurant. 120km from Dalat to Phan Rang takes us afternoon to finish. We have to get over a Pass called spectacular Pass (it is too hard to bike). Then our group will bike along rice fields, villages about 30km before getting to Den Gion resort. Stay at Phan Rang.

Day 6: Phan Rang – Nha Trang (breakfast/ lunch)
We will start our biking trip at 8h00, the road is good enough to bike, we will bike 25km first before finishing 15km more at Song Pha Pass, a very beautiful outlook with sea view. You can not complain anything but the heat. 12h30, you are in the city where one of the most beautiful bay in the world can be found: Nha Trang bay. I think you should bike along main road close to Nha Trang beach, it is about 12km. The rest of afternoon is free. Stay in Nha trang.

Day 7: Nha Trang (breakfast/ lunch)
Today is not very hard and busy like others before, you do not have to get up early, I think we can start at 9h00 with a short distance to a small port where you start a trip on a boat to Mun island, enjoying some interesting activities, it is worth swimming on the fresh beach. After visiting Mun island, we have enough time to take a look at Ponagar Temple. The rest of time will be free. Stay in Nha Trang.

Day 8: Nha Trang – Quy Nhon (breakfast/ lunch)
We will start at 8h00, 20km biking or more but we think 20km of biking is reasonable, the road is good with rice fields, mountains and not crowded. We come Quy Nhon at 14h00, this is the time for luch. After luch, we take a short rest. Biking 17km more around city is optional but I think it is really interesting to bike more, when getting out of the city, a quite sight of countryside as well as sea will help you release your tiredness. Overnight stay in Quy Nhon.

Day 9: Quy Nhon – Hoi An (breakfast/ lunch)
It is about 250km from Quy Nhon to Hoi An, we will bike about 30km along moutains, trees, rice fields, some low passes. If you want to bike more, we will have chance when visit My Son relics. From the main road to My Son relics is about 30km, the road is quite with villages along but if we are not quick, then darkness will cover us. Reaching My Son relics, we will have a new environment, very quite, only us and our guide. My Son lies in isolated area surrounded by mountains and trees. We will get to Hoi An in late afternoon.

Day 10: Hoi An (breakfast/ lunch)
In the morning, we should bike to visit Marble mountain about 30km (two ways). You can go with us or discover Hoi An ancient town by yourself. You may have heard about this town or just the first time hear about it and now it is the time to discover. In the afternoon, we will show you almost attractions at this town. The evening is free for shopping or have coffee with your group at some café. Stay at Hoi An.

Day 11: Hoi An - Hue (breakfast/ lunch)
It is not very far from Hoi An to Hue, then we will start late in the morning. First, we will go through Danang, the third biggest city in Vietnam before getting over Hai Van pass with beautiful sights of clouds and sea. Our bike trip today will be harder than others before, we have to get over some low passes. Nothing is more interesting than doing it by yourself. You should run as slowly as you can. We will bike some more km before getting on bus for Hue city. We come Hue in the late afternoon. The afternoon is free. In the evening, we enjoy traditional music performances on boat. Overnight stay in Hue.

Day 12: Hue - Hanoi (breakfast/ lunch/ berth)
Hue is the capital of Vietnam in the past, now it follows Danang as the second biggest city in the central. Hue is rich in tradition, culture and history. Hue people are very kind. A morning tour focuses on the Imperial Citadel, built in 1804 on a site chosen in accordance with the principles of geomancy, and the Dong Ba Market, famous for its best conical hats in Vietnam. In the afternoon, visit the tombs of King Tu Duc (ruled 1848 – 1883) and King Khai Dinh (ruled 1916 – 1925). The monuments, designed by the kings themselves, were also used as holiday retreats during their lifetime. Overland to Thien Mu Pagoda. We will get on late afternoon train to Hanoi. Berth

Note: Simple dinner on train.

The train get in Hanoi in the early morning. We will start our visit Halong without any biking. Arriving Halong, board a private boat for a cruise in Halong Bay (4 hours), a World Heritage site recognized by UNESCO in 1994. Visit some magical grottoes and relax in the best scenic beauty of Vietnam. Lunch of fresh seafood is served on board. Overnight stay on boat.

Day 13: Hanoi – Halong (breakfast/ lunch)

Day 14: Halong – Hanoi (breakfast/ lunch)
We will start at 8h00 from Halong for Hanoi, we have to get through some provinces before reaching Hanoi. We have time to bike as much as you like but I think we should stop at 40 km for the whole day. Sightseeing in the North is not as beautiful as in the South but it is very close to local people. You may see a child on a buffalo, farmers harvesting on rice fields, villages ect…We arrive Hanoi in the late afternoon, time for lunch and the rest will be free. Stay in Hanoi.

Day 15: Hanoi (breakfast/ lunch)
We will spend nearly whole day to visit Hanoi, but it may finish sooner in the afternoon. We will start from Temple of Literature, the Ethnology Museum, the old quarters and a downtown pedicab ride (1 hour). The sightseeing day ends with a water puppet show, a theatrical genre reflecting the agricultural civilization of thousands of years ago. The rest will be free. Stay in hanoi.
