Xeo Quit is a base of Vietnam in the war with a very famous story about a pregnant mother: She was going to give birth to a child, if the child had cried, then her enemy (US soldiers) would have found and killed her but surprisingly, the child was born without any cry (she has just finished a university in Ho Chi Minh city). Leaving Xeo Quit, we head for Chau Doc, we have chances to see farming activities and the riverine life of the Mekong Delta en route. In the evening, take a pedicab ride to Lady Temple, full of exciting legends. Overnight stay in Chau Doc.

We take a morning cruise on the Mekong River to get to know the feeding of catfish in their natural river habitat at floating houses. Catfish has been fed in Chau Doc for more than 100 years, contributing to the change of life of many families in the region. Thus, a unique status of catfish was built at a park in Chau Doc for people's gratefulness (finished between 2003 - 2004). Our next visit is to a traditional village called Chau Giang, home to coloured brocade woven by Cham Muslims. From smallest to largest items can be found here, you can enjoy a cup to coffee or have breakfast, all can be met at this floating market. This market will not close until the noon, from the market, you can come to visit an ecology garden along the river. It is quite and characterizes gardens and typical houses in the region.
